Hill-Town Ease
Mall Road and Chowrasta give the route its slow first evening: tea, local shopping, old promenade energy, and the easy rhythm of Darjeeling.

Ready When You Are
Tea gardens, old hill-town evenings, sunrise ridges, monasteries, and the quiet forest road to Lepchajagat.
Trip Essence
A compact Himalayan hill escape built around Darjeeling town, Tiger Hill sunrise, colonial-era walking streets, tea gardens, monasteries, and Lepchajagat forest quiet before the NJP return.
Mall Road and Chowrasta give the route its slow first evening: tea, local shopping, old promenade energy, and the easy rhythm of Darjeeling.
The route can open before dawn at Tiger Hill, then move through Batasia Loop, Ghoom Monastery, Peace Pagoda, tea gardens, and the ropeway if timing allows.
Lepchajagat brings the quieter finish: pine and oak stretches, mist on the road, and a softer mountain atmosphere away from the main town rush.
Route Rhythm

Day 01
NJP Pickup to Darjeeling
Route Note
Pickup from NJP and drive into the Darjeeling hills with room to slow down for tea, viewpoints, and mountain-road breaks.
Check in at the Darjeeling stay and keep the first day light so the group can settle in without rushing the route.
Walk Mall Road and Chowrasta, the town promenade where cafes, small shops, hill air, and first glimpses of Darjeeling set the tone.

Day 02
Tiger Hill and Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Route Note
Start early for Tiger Hill sunrise, weather permitting, then continue towards Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery.
Visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, one of Darjeeling's most loved stops for Himalayan wildlife and red panda conservation.
Cover Peace Pagoda, tea garden viewpoints, and Darjeeling Ropeway if queues, weather, and operations line up well.
Return to town for a relaxed hill-station evening instead of overloading the day with one more rushed stop.

Day 03
Darjeeling to Lepchajagat and NJP Drop
Route Note
After breakfast, leave for Lepchajagat, a quieter forest settlement known for mist, pine and oak stretches, and a slower hill mood.
Spend time around the forest-road atmosphere before continuing towards NJP for the return drop.
Drop at NJP as per onward timing, with the route adjusted around traffic, weather, and guest comfort.
