Arrive in Aizawl, Mizoram's ridge-top capital of steep streets, cafes, markets, viewpoints, and evening lights. Settle in, taste local food, and meet the group over a sunset briefing.

Oct 13, 2026 (Tuesday)
Reiek Day Trip + Aizawl Evening
Drive to Reiek for mountain views, forested trails, Mizo heritage spaces, and a slower village-side experience above the Aizawl hills. Return to Aizawl by evening for food, cafes, markets, or viewpoints depending on time.

Aizawl to Champhai
Take the scenic hill road to Champhai, Mizoram's eastern valley district known for paddy fields, wide skies, and soft borderland light. Settle in, explore the town lightly, and ease into the festival atmosphere.

Champhai + Hnahsin Kût
Spend the day around Champhai and the Hnahsin Kût festival: cosmos flowers, local food, music, culture, community spaces, games, food courts, and photography-friendly landscapes. The day includes a cultural and heritage-side excursion around Champhai, covering sacred Mizo sites, protected archaeological / ASI-linked sites, and nearby viewpoints, subject to road conditions, timing, and local permissions.

Zokhawthar + Festival Closing
Explore the Zokhawthar border belt in the morning with guided context around the Indo-Myanmar border, the Tiau river valley, and everyday life on Mizoram's eastern edge. Return to Champhai for the Hnahsin Kût closing ceremony on October 16.

Champhai to Aizawl
Drive back to Aizawl through Mizoram's rolling hill roads on October 17. Airport drop / onward travel as required.
