Wangala is one of the best-known festivals of the Garo community, often associated with the sound and movement of the 100 drums. This page will stay vibe-led for now: the final route will balance festival time with Garo Hills landscapes, markets, food, and slower local context.

The centre of the journey is Wangala's harvest celebration: drums, dance formations, traditional attire, and community gathering.
